In light of the growing public health concerns around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we announce the postponement of the AJ100 Awards to a date later in the year.
As the concern over the spread of the Coronavirus in the UK continues to escalate, we realise that the responsible thing to do is postpone the event to later in 2020 when we hope that this crisis will have passed. Our participants’ health and safety, and that of our own teams, is our number one priority, and we are sure that you would agree.
This was a difficult decision to make, but we are now able to switch our sights to a replacement date which is to be announced as soon as possible.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, and we do apologise for any inconvenience caused.
The AJ100 2020
Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2020, the AJ100 is a firm fixture in the architecture calendar. The AJ100 survey is the definitive record of the UK’s largest architecture practices and recognises and rewards achievements made by these firms each year. This year, in light of the climate emergency, there is an increased focus on sustainability and innovation in this crucial area. This is reflected in the addition of three new award categories: Sustainability Initiative, Sustainability Champion, and Community Impact.
The top 100 practices, measured by number of architects employed, are invited to attend the annual dinner where the winners of the dedicated AJ100 award categories are revealed.
Your response allows us to make key observations about the industry that will benefit the profession. Bruce Tether of Manchester Business School will be working with us to analyse the data and provide really detailed insights into what the figures mean for the business of architectural practice.
