David joined GHA London in 2012, leading the successful competition submission and overseeing the design of the new John Lewis department store and a residential block within Land Securities’ Oxford Westgate development.
He is currently leading the project delivery of the first phase of 560 residential units at the London City Island development in East London for Ballymore. He is also working closely with Westfield on a number of projects which seek to expand and vitalise their commercial, retail and residential offer.
Prior to joining GHA, David had a leading role in a number of significant commercial and mixed-use projects for major clients including Argent, British Land, Derwent London, Land Securities and Stanhope along with responsibility for in-house project design and technical review.
David has been a visiting critic and lecturer at Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, Aberdeen, IIT, Chicago, and the Bartlett, London.
He has contributed chapters and articles to various publications and has been a speaker at conferences in the UK and internationally. He has also acted as an RIBA competition assessor.
