Marion is an award winning architect and author who has designed and delivered many large scale, complex projects. As a partner at PDP London, she collaborates with key developer-clients and estates in central London. Her work involves both re-imagining and refurbishing sites for new uses and creating new places. Her experience covers both the architecture and the interiors, so from the overall vision to fine details and finishes.
Passionate and authoritative on low energy design and issues surrounding net zero carbon, she approaches sustainability with a pioneering attitude. Her book ‘Residential Retrofits, 20 case studies’ followed the delivery of the award winning Princedale Road project which was the first certified PassivHaus retrofit in the UK. Marion is often invited to speak on the subject at many industry events, such as the NLA, RIBA and AA. It in in this role that she seeks to inspire and empower others to become the next construction industry leaders.
Key projects include new homes of utmost robustness and craftsmanship quality at Chelsea Barracks with the 13 Townhouses and the restoration of The Garrison Chapel and a contemporary and sensitive upgrade which is set to transform the iconic Art Deco building Eighty Strand along the Thames.
Marion first studied at Paris Belleville School of Architecture and UCL Bartlett London School of Architecture. She later completed an MA in Sustainability and Design at University of East London School of Architecture.
