Maria Smith is a London-based architect working across architecture, engineering, journalism, education, awards, and events. She is a director at award-winning architecture and engineering practice Interrobang, and Webb Yates Engineers. Prior to this, Maria was a director of art and architecture practice, Studio Weave. Maria has written for a range of architecture magazines; is a member of the RIBA National Awards Panel; a trustee of The Architecture Foundation; and one of the Mayor of London’s Design Advocates where she sits on the Circular Economy Sounding Board. Maria co-founded the international series of politics and architecture debates, Turncoats; and is co-chief curator for the Oslo Architecture Triennale 2019.
