Larry Malcic is Lead Representative for Centrus, the joint venture formed by HOK and WSP to rehabilitate and expand the Canadian Parliament Building in Ottawa, Canada.
Larry recently retired after thirty years as Director and Design Principal for HOK International Ltd in London. In that time he helped establish HOK’s strong presence in the UK and Europe, and designed buildings in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
He has worked on large-scale master plans in the UK, the Middle East, China and South Korea, and has delivered multiple projects for Canary Wharf, Grosvenor and Skanska. Under his leadership HOK International refurbished many historic buildings like the Ministry of Defence Main Building, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Admiralty House and 22-26 Whitehall. His work in continental Europe includes master plans for Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and European headquarters for NCR Corporation, Cisco Systems, and Dexia Bank.
He holds two degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, a BA in Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture. Larry has lectured and taught in schools in the UK and USA.
