Maha joined Zaha Hadid Architects in 1995, and has been involved in a number of key architectural projects such as the ‘ROCA London Gallery’ [London, 2009-2011] and the ‘Serpentine Sackler Gallery’ [London, 2009-2013]. She has led several bespoke projects including the ‘Zaha Hadid Collection’ pop-up shop at Aishti [Beirut 2017- Ongoing], and the interiors and furniture program for the ‘Opus Hotel’ [Dubai, 2017].

Having assisted with the design of Zaha Hadid’s first limited edition product collaboration, the ‘Tea and Coffee Set’, for Sawaya & Moroni [1997], Maha began to develop and manage the product design department. Collaborating with global luxury brands and galleries, Maha leads her team in the implementation of every project, including the ‘Belu Seating Sculpture’ with Kenny Schachter and the ROVE Gallery [2007], ‘Liquid Glacial’ for David Gill Gallery [2012-2016], ‘Zephyr Sofa’ [2013], ‘Lamellae Collection’ of rings and cuffs for Georg Jensen [2016], and the ‘Brit Award’ statue [2017]. These collaborations are often launched at some of the world’s leading design fairs, including the Salone Del Mobile, Design Miami, and PAD.

In 2014 Maha directed the premier launch of Zaha Hadid’s commercial product line, the “Zaha Hadid Design Collection” which is retailed internationally both online, and in-store. She continues to lead her team in design, and execution of new collections which are exhibited at top trade fairs such as Maison & Objet Paris.

Maha has a BA degree in Environmental Design from Parsons School of Design, New York [1992] and a MA degree in Architecture from Columbia University, New York [1994].
