Fatima is an internationally qualified architect based in Bradford with a decade of experience as a Lead Designer in the UK. Having completed her Part III qualification at RIBA North West in 2019, she is actively engaged in delivering community-led regeneration projects in the district and across the UK. She is known for her collaborative and ambitious approach to design and currently leads the design team at Faum Architecture to deliver innovative architectural solutions for the community in Bradford and beyond. She recently led the team›s shortlisted entry for the RIBA Beacon competition in 2023, showcasing an innovative project to design an iconic traveling performance space during City of Culture 2025.
Fatima is passionate about championing diversity and social impact within the built environment. She serves as a mentor for aspiring professionals at Women in Architecture-UK (WIA) and is actively engaged as a guest lecturer at the University of Bradford Architectural Technology Course. She is also involved as a steering group member at the Bradford Property & Economic Forum for the Chamber of Commerce and as an ambassador for the Young Professionals in Social Value initiative.
In her free time, Fatima expresses her creativity through urban illustrations, exploring various mixed mediums including traditional drawing and AI. She also enjoys illustrating children›s books, showcasing her versatile artistic talents and reflecting her passion for both design and artistic expression.
